Objectives
NPT Sugar Group’s primary objective is to promote sustainability through multiple fronts, including providing profit sharing, zero interest loans, and increased wages to support our partner farmers and maintain talent at our sugar mills. We aim to streamline training for the next generation that will help run and expand the mills.
In addition, NPT Sugar Group is committed to promoting sustainable farming practices through new irrigation systems and energy alternatives with a focus on solar energy in areas where we are unable to access the electronic grid.
Our long-term objectives include expanding into other agricultural sectors in Myanmar and accessing additional financial markets to access banking services for weather hedging and other instruments to protect our downsides. We hope to be able to provide an initial public offering on the Myanmar Stock Exchange and eventually in the SGX, once our current conditions are improved and ongoing allegations are dispelled.
